America Rest of the worldPineider Firenze is born as the first shop opened by Francesco Pineider in 1774, a visionary of his time who wanted to create sophisticated, handcrafted and high quality products, which are aimed at great writers, intellectuals, politicians, but above all anyone who loves the beauty of quality and the savoir faire of craftsmanship. This is why he chose Piazza della Signoria in Florence to move from Val Gardena and open his first shop in one of the most coveted cultural centers of the moment.
The success of this small manufacturing business is exponential. The caliber of clientele is that of Stendhal, Napoleon, Lord Byron and many more. The small shop was transformed into a luxury boutique and remained in Piazza della Signoria until 2011 when it moved to a new store in the refined Piazza Rucellai, opposite to the Loggia dei Rucellai: the only loggia of a private family still left in Florence. An extremely elegant space in which the new boutique evolves and becomes a new point of reference for all Florentines (and not only) who love paper, luxury pens and professional leather goods. In 2022 and after a long search for a larger space that could accommodate the growth of the brand, the boutique lands in Lungarno Acciaiuoli. A structure full of historicity. Property of the Spini family in the 1300s, who ordered the construction of the palace and annexed buildings after the purchase of the whole area by the monks following the flood. The current boutique, in fact, constitutes one of the buildings built around the largest private palace, Palazzo Spini, in fourteenth-century Florence, the only one that can compete with Palazzo Vecchio, which was built in those same years.
A suggestive location that along the Arno also overlooks Ponte Vecchio, embracing all the beauty of Florence.
